I am using Storyline 3. I am unable to insert a straight line that is horizontal (true zero degree) nor vertical (true 180 degrees). Adjusting the line will not yield a straight line.
Generally, holding down shift while you draw the line will yield a horizontal or vertical line.
Or, if it is already drawn, select it and choose the Format tab from the ribbon. That will give you boxes with the X and Y location. Change the width (for vertical) or height (for horizontal) to 1.
