I cannot get my CC/srt file to work. I have attached my story file (there's a MP4 and an .srt file already in there). The tutorials on CC do not feature a video or have a file to download. If anyone could help me, I would appreciate it (been trying all day long!)
Thanks for sharing a copy of your .story file. I am curious if you could tell me how you created and inserted the .srt file? Also could you share those files with me separately so that I could look at importing it in myself? From what I can see it looks like everything was inserted correctly...so I'd just want to reattempt it with your files. If you're unable to share here in ELH please fee free to send along to our team here.
Eloisa Garcia fixed my srt for me and it now works. It looks like the file was broken with the timecodes. So, I am clear on how to use CC for video. The problem is now with my audio only slides. I've posted another thread on this:
If you think anyone on the team knows of a solution to get srt/cc boxes to scroll for user control, please let me know and I can upload some audio files and my test story files.
Thanks Vanessa for that update - and glad Eloisa was able to spot it!
As for your other discussion, I saw that one too - but I don't believe there is a way to have them scroll for user control - but if you want to share your files in that discussion or as a part of a new support case the community or staff can take a look!
I'm having similar problems with some closed captions not displaying. I have five captions in an srt file. Two out of the five display on screen (3 and 5). I haven't been able to figure out why the others don't. Looking for help! Thanks!
I can see that you’re still struggling with closed captions since you reached out here and in this other discussion. I opened a case on your behalf (01056681), and I'll share the details of your case in the other discussion. We can keep the conversation going over there!
