I am reviewing someone else's eLearning and having a hard time getting all the "visited" states to appear exactly the same. What is the best way to proceed here to make sure everything visited is the same shade, sharpness, etc.?
The easiest way to ensure states match across buttons is to create one button, adjust the states as desired, and then duplicate that to create the other buttons.
When buttons already exist, you can use the Format Painter:
Note: To ensure the Format Painter is transferring all the attributes, you need to select the button, not just the button's text. The easiest way to do that is to select the button in the timeline. Then double-click the Format Painter, and click on the other buttons that need reformatting. Re-click the Format Painter when you're done to turn off that function.
As for shades, it helps to pick a color directly from the file's color palette. Other colors can be added to the Custom Colors to make them easy to reuse:
You could also just reenter the Hue/Sat/Lum, RGB, or HTML values when assigning a color.
