Capturing User Data-Input - Possible in Storyline 2?

Mar 31, 2017

Hello -

I am a relatively new user of Storyline 2 and have been working hard to create several exciting 'upgrades' within my professional association as well as some online learning courses.

One of my project ideas is to streamline an existing application process by creating it through Storyline 2 - that will then be made available for users to complete online. After reading several other related threads recently, it seems as if capturing user data-entries in this way (application format) may be difficult or may not be possible at all.

Would anyone care to clarify this? My hope is to be able to not only capture all data input (mainly consisting of 'yes' and 'no' and fill in questions) and then allow us (and the user) an option to save and print afterwards.

Also, are there any capabilities within Storyline 2 that would allow a user to upload files/documents? My guess is no - but I had to ask.

I am not a programmer, just a creative techy :) - and realize I may be over-reaching here. I have enjoyed using Storyline 2 to create online courses but never have attempted to capture data before.  Any advice is welcome!
