Challenge Time

Hi everyone,

I'm pretty novice at using storyline so if I've overcomplicated something that doesn't need to be more difficult than it is, I'm open to suggestions.

The issue I'm facing with this project is that I can't get my layer (Legandary1) to show when the variable (Legendary) becomes true, which I have set up this simple demonstration to observe.

The second issue is that I'm not sure how to get the timer to stop once it reaches the end slide where is should display the outcome layer.

Any help or ideas you have would be appreciated, Thank you!

I'm amazed at how you implemented a timer mechanism in Storyline! I'm happy to provide some recommendations for your project. I made some tweaks with the triggers in the last slide that solve both showing the Legendary1 layer and stopping the timer. You can find these changes in the attached project file. The screenshots and GIF below highlight the modifications as well as a peek into my test results.
