Change Hover Color
Feb 06, 2018
I have searched and searched this forum and cannot figure out what I am doing wrong. I used a template which made some squares turn red when the mouse hovers over them - this red is not one of our "colors" and I need it changed. BUT, I cannot figure out how to change it. As far as I can tell, there is NOT a trigger, unless there's a trigger that doesn't show up in the triggers list? I am assuming it's changing due to a trigger, but I can't find the trigger! Can someone help? Thanks!

Hi Danielle
Hover colour is drawn from the Colour theme in the Design tab - here is a tutorial that may help you.
Thanks, Wendy. I've actually gone through this tutorial a number of times and still can't get it to work. I think I'll just have to replace the buttons with new ones. That's the only way I can get it to work ... it's time consuming, but doable.
Are your buttons on the slide master - if so check that the theme on the master is the same.
Happy to take a look if you want to upload a slide
I don't have a slide master as I'm using templates from several different themes (from the content library) and also some slides I copied from another designer. Maybe that's part of my problem?

Hi Danielle
not sure I understand
If you edit the states and choose Hover there is the red - what do you want it to be?
Apparently I am just an idiot ... I couldn't get it to work, but, of course now it works just fine. Thank you for your help!
No idiots here - sometimes just a second set of eyes when you've been concentrating on something too long. All the best with your project Danielle :-)
