Change State....Help please
Feb 19, 2013
I made this slide so you can drag the text boxes into the the food for thought box. when dragged in the box I have it set to change the state of the text box to this.........>
This state change works with no problem. The problem I have is when the user clicks the submit button it closes the food for thoughts box with the one or two text box's the user picks.
I just can't figure out how the make the text boxes that are not dragged to stay on the screen. I have used every state change and trigger option I could think of but all I get is this screen when they hit submit.......>
See on this how all the text boxes disappear. Only the ones that are dragged into the box should disappear. I'm still very new the storyline so any help would be awesome.
I am uploading the storyline file also.
Thank you for any help that may come.
David.

Hi David!
It looks good. However, you'll want to add some conditions to the "Submit" triggers.
Here's the trigger and conditions I used to get the objects to hide, if they've been placed in the box:
I'm also attaching a modified version of the file, so you can take a look.
I hope this helps!
You are by far the best Christine, Thank you for showing me how you did it. i will say with storyline I learn something new every day. .
Now I'm starting to understand the conditions as well.
Again thank you so much
David.
You are very welcome, David! Happy I could help
And for the record I did not import your version of the slide I just looked at how you did it and then applied it to my version.
Once again thank you
David
