Change state if media is playing?

Jan 16, 2019

I have inserted a character, and created a state in which the character moves her mouth (by using a gif, in order to give the impression that she is talking).

I would like to change the state of the character to 'talking' when an audio is playing, and to go back to her normal state when the audio is not playing. Is there a way of doing this?

I am also very new to the use of variables, so if anybody could recommend me a good tutorial, it would be very much appreciated!

Thanks in advance for the help,

Julia.

Hi Julia!

How does the audio play? Does it play automatically, or does it play when the learner clicks a button?

  • If it plays automatically, Yusuf's suggestion is the way to go!
  • If it plays when the user clicks a button, you could add a trigger to "change state of the character to talking when the user clicks the button."
