Hi there, hoping to get some help with the state of a button when using a True/False Variable. I have a menu slide with buttons that change state when the user clicks on the button (visited) and when the timeline starts on the final slide of the section (complete). When I go back to the menu slide the after the final slide the complete status appears and works. But, when I hover over the button or click on it again the state changes. I want the state to remain as Complete even if the button is clicked again. Can anyone help?
You may be able to add a trigger on the individual buttons:
Change state of > [Button Name] > when user clicks > [Button Name] > If the variable 'Complete' is equal to True.
This should trigger the state to change to complete. Without seeing the .story file, I can't definitively tell you if this would work, but it may be worth a shot.
This seems to work, somewhat (.story file attached). The button mostly maintains it's "visited" state, changing to a lighter shade of green when hovered over.
I honestly thought that the hover state would be blue, which is default. Seems like maybe a bug but I think this would still work for me :)

Right - I get that too. Reverts back to visited state instead of staying at the completed state.
I'm at a loss here.
Take a look at the sample file I uploaded in my previous post - I used the "visited" state as the completed state and it seems to work fairly well.
I'm not sure if using visited as completed works for you, but thought I'd toss the idea out there.
