Hi all, got a problem that's driving me nuts
Have a slide with 2 layers when both are visited I want text to appear, sounds simple enough and it sorta works BUT if the user visits the slides in reverse order then it doesn't work and I cant for the life of me work out why!
looking at the sample attached click on information 2 then information 1 then back on 2 and you will see the issue
Its easier to see the attachment, any tips greatly received!!
Thanks

Hey James
check out update to your file and see if that works for you
Hi James,
I have no explanation why this works but "Hide other slide layers" is unticked for layer 1.
If you tick it, it then works (I was expecting "Reset to initial state" to be the problem actually).
Hi Wendy, thanks for the speedy reply, I tried your file and I still saw the same error, what did you change from the original? what did I miss :)
Ah! Seriously, that was it?!?!?
Thanks Pierre looks like it works like a charm now - you have no idea how long I spent staring at that screen trying to work out why it didn't work!!
Thanks !!!!
I created a new state called next on text box 2 with text 'select next to continue' then trigger the state to change when the variable changed. Obviously I didn't understand what your issue was. Here is video of how I saw it working. Glad Pierre got you sorted.
Ah thanks Wendy, that's actually so simple and clever! I have really over engineered this having two text boxes one hide and one show depending on the variable but your states solution is much more elegant!
Came here for one solution and got two, now that's added value right there!! Thanks :)
No worries James - whatever works! Good luck with your project.
