Changing mouse cursor on a slide

Jan 09, 2023

Hello all,

I'm currently making a tutorial on a software where the user replicates action as if he was using it. However, at one point I need him to use an eyedropper tool. In the software, it replaces the user's cursor by an eyedropper until you've clicked somewhere.

I therefore need to change the user's cursor aspect for one slide, is there any way to replicate it in Storyline ? I've only found very old discussions on the matter which didn't give an answer, so I'd happily take any ideas on this matter.

Hello Cyrille,

Thanks for reaching out!

Have you checked out this article on how to change cursor styles in Storyline 360? If this isn't the setting you were looking for, try checking out this community post where a user posted a similar query on how to change the user's mouse cursor.

Hope this helps!
