Changing Multiple Variables

First off, I apologize for the issues you've had searching the forums. The forum search is something our team is aware of and are looking into a fix for in the next update to the ELH site. In the meantime, you can use the site Articusearch to search the forums.

In regards to your variable adjustment, it's difficult to say for certain without seeing where and how these triggers are set up, but based on using the "variable changes" I suspect the variable is not changing on that slide but somewhere else? Instead, I'd assign the trigger to something that happens on that slide with the conditions that the variables you're working with are equal to true. It's also important to note that the trigger order execution is important and described here.

If you're still having difficulty, it may be helpful to share the .story file here with the community.

I'm experiencing a similar problem to Anna. I have set up 5 True/False variables, one main one called OneNoteHierarchy and 4 others called: Notebook, SectionGroup, Section, and Pages. 

Good News: The 4 triggers are firing and changing the 4 aforementioned variables to True. 

I wanted to set it up so that when these 4  variables change to True, the OneNoteHierarchy variable changes to True, and the layer Congrats is shown.

I cannot figure out why OneNoteHierarchy does not change to True when the other 4 variables are True. 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.  I have attached the slide here.

I'm back.  Couldn't let it go :)  Figured out a way to get the Congrats layer to show once these 4 variables are True: Notebook, SectionGroup, Section, and Pages.  I have attached the file.  Let me know if there's a better way.

Glad you were able to get this working as you needed - with Storyline there is often more than one way to accomplish something, but this set up looks pretty good! If it works for you, go for it. 😉
