Changing State Via Trigger

Hello,

In a secondary layer, I have an image I want the user to click on, which should then show a text box that has the description of the image. I put the text box in an initial state of hidden and added a trigger of "change state to normal" when the user clicks the image. . I have tried everything. I even made sure the "Text box 2" is brought to the front, just in case it was hidden. The image below has the current state of this layer. However, I even added a state named "Hidden" and deleted the content in the text box while in the hidden state, but that also did not work. I am going crazy here. What am I missing?
