Changing states on multiple layers
Jun 06, 2013
I have a unique situation where I have a slide with multiple layers and text boxes with the same text on each. The text appears on tabs along one side so when the learner clicks on a tab it shows the layer associated with that text.
All of the text boxes with the same text have the same name on all the layers and "selected" states are set up for each.
I'd like to set up triggers so that when the learner clicks on one of these tabs on one layer it changes the state of that text box AND the other text boxes on the other layers to show they've viewed that layer.
Can you help?

Hi Geralyn,
Couldn't you put those boxes on the base layer?
You wouldn't have to duplicate each of them and could just adjust the state on this one...

Excellent idea! I had not thought of that because I was using the base layer as an introduction slide but if I add a layer for the introduction text I see how much time that would save. Brilliant! Thank you Annie!
