Characters not displaying correctly in Storyline 2
Jul 10, 2019
Hello,
I have been using Storyline 2 as my development tool for online trainings for the better part of five years, all connected with an SAP-based learning management system. Up until recently I had no issues, but about a month ago I found a recurring issue where the heads of my animated characters were becoming detached from the bodies (see attached image for an example). There doesn't appear to be a rhyme or reason for this--most, but not all are detaching regardless of pose, orientation, placement, or animation--and my DPI settings are correct (96). Does anyone have any advice for this?
Thanks in advance!
Adam

I should also mention that I am using Windows 10, if that is of any consequence.
Let me know if I can provide any additional information or attachments. Thanks again!
Hello Adam!
Sounds like you are using Storyline very frequently! I'm happy to hear that. And thank you for letting us know that you're using Windows 10.
It sounds like you've already looked at changing your DPI settings. After changing those settings, you may be prompted to sign out. After signing out and signing back in, you will need to restart your computer to ensure those settings are initiated.
From there, your characters will be as good as new!
I'm attaching this article just in case you have questions about changing the DPI settings.
