Does anyone know IF the classic is going away? I'm very much for the modern player but want to know if any fellow IDs know if classic is going away in the near future.
I am guessing you are asking this because of Flash ending in 2020. There seems to be no announcement yet as to until when the Classic Player would be available even with Flash discontinuing. Both players work on HTML5 format, meaning they can work without Flash and they have player comparisons where the user can choose and switch easily according to their preferences. Let's enjoy it for now.

Just stopping by to add that we don't have plans to phase out the classic player. Of course, we'll keep you in the know if that changes!
