Hey, is it possible to click a graphic (f.e. an arrow) and hit left, although the slide has another crossover (the crossover for the slide is: hit right)? Thanks a lot for your help :) Ines
Hi Ines! Thanks for reaching out! I'm not sure I completely understand your question. Would you be able to share a sample file or even a screenshot that would help explain a bit more?
If I'm understanding correctly, you should be able to add an Exit Animation on the left arrow to "Fly Out: To Left". Would that achieve what you're looking to do?
The right arrow should slide out to the right, the left arrow to the left (but this one is also sliding to the right because of the adjustment of the Slide).
I think when I give an Exit Animation just the graphic is flying out to the left, but i want the hole slide (go to the previous slide!) to move left. Do you understand?
Hey thanks Wendy and Alyssa, but sorry thats not what Im looking for. The slide has already a transition... but I want: - in the published Folder, opend in browser: the slide should come in the transition I made for it (to the right) --> that works BUT - when you click the graphic (arrow) the user should slide to the left (previous slide)
Perhaps you could share this one slide with us so we can see what you have set up so far and test ways to help you achieve what you're looking to do. You can use the Add Attachment button at the bottom of the reply window to attach the file directly to this thread.
Thanks for sharing your file. I think I understand what you're trying to do now, Ines. It looks like you would like to apply a slide transition when you click the Previous button, but that is not a built-in feature of Storyline. Slide transitions only apply to the Next button.
A workaround would be to duplicate the slides and set the previous button to go to a "push left" version of the same slide, but that would take some creativity with navigation and triggers. Maybe others in the community can offer another idea for a workaround!

Yes, right.

Hi Ines
are you perhaps after a 'transition' on the slide not an animation on an object. This tutorial may help
