i have one problem that i cant get solve it, let me explain, i have an step by step slide and in the midle of try mode the user has to change one object to another place, but articulate do it automatically, and i need the user do it using mouse, can you help me?
Hi Ashley, i saw this in adobe captivate, the student click in in scroll bar and move it up and down, so can´t i do this in articulate? could you give other solution?
If you're trying to capture the software simulation using the built in screen recording functionality of Storyline it won't capture the scrolling functions as click-and-drag events—such as dragging a scroll bar—aren't interactive in step-by-step screen recordings.
You could look at recreating the slide on your own and adding a scroll bar, but there won't be a way to confirm that the user completed it similar to using the "try" or "test" mode of screen recordings.

Hi Antonio,
Click-and-drag events—such as dragging a scroll bar—aren't interactive in step-by-step screen recordings.
However, other actions—like clicking and typing—are interactive, so you'll be able to test learners on these actions.
Perhaps for those slides you may want to look at setting up some custom drag and drop interactions to test/try that?

Hi Antonio,
You can add scroll bars as a part of Storyline on a regular slide - but as mentioned it won't be a a part of an interactive screen recording.
