Click Previous Button is NOT an option, only swipe

I have a 12 language/scene course with 6 videos. All triggers are duplicated for each scene. Using the next/previous buttons on the standard toolbar. On all videos, I've set up the Next button as disabled until user views at least once, then they can go back and view again/forward through it or skip it to visit a previous screen. On the first video, there is not a trigger available for the user to click the previous button - only swipe.
If I try to copy a When the user clicks or swipes Previous button trigger from another video, when I paste it on Video 1, it reverts to only swipe.
I think my triggers are more complicated than need be, but this was the way I got the other videos to work. Why is this ONE video not cooperating? Thx for insights!

If you're willing to share a copy of your .story file, it would be helpful to see how the triggers have been built out so far. Do you mind attaching your project to this discussion or privately in a support case?
We'll delete it from our system as soon as we're finished!
I'll submit a support case after I make a complete list of the issues with the videos - even though I think the triggers are all the same, the videos are not playing consistently when the user goes back. The result is the course gets hung up. Thanks so much!
