Closed captioning

Mar 11, 2014

Is there anIyway that the text of the transcript can be highlighted while the audio is ongoing? Here is a screen shot of what I would like to accomplish taken from the Lynda.com articulate storyline tutorial. As the audio plays the text is highlighted.

This was posted quite awhile ago but this is definitely a feature that would be a great addition to Storyline. I'm including a screenshot for reference. As the video plays, the transcript text is highlighted, sentence by sentence, along with the voice over. If you want to pause at anytime, you just click the highlighted sentence, to resume, click it again.

Hey Kate and welcome to E-Learning Heroes :)

This post is a bit older, and it looks like you are using Storyline 360.

The good news is that we do have a Closed Caption feature within Storyline 360 and I invite you to check it out here.

It displays the corresponding caption as the timeline progresses, which eliminates the need for highlighting within a large portion of text.

Hope that helps you out :)
