As it stands now when we activate closed captioning (to be 508 compliant) the text box overlays a significant portion of the real estate on the page.
There is a large blank area at the bottom of the player (to the left of the Previous and Next buttons) that is unused. Why can't the closed captioning display in this area as a scrolling marquee?

As I shared with Chris, this is a popular request. While the gray space to the left of the navigation buttons is reserved for the player seekbar, we have heard feedback from other customers that the placement of the closed captioning box should be customizable. We're continuing to track how in-demand this feature is, so I appreciate you letting us know what you'd like to see!
