cmi.core.suspend_data may not be greater than 4096 characters... Nov 21, 2018 By Brian Rayburn We've been having an issue with a course not completing and I ran ScormCloud and got the following: cmi.core.suspend_data may not be greater than 4096 characters, your value is 6008 characters I will also post the entire debug thread below in case something else pops out to one of you. Thanks in advance. https://cloud.scorm.com/sc/guest/ViewDebugLog?logId=0a03ed6a-712d-484f-b439-20ccad337ba6&courseTitle=Hold+Staff+Meeting

Reynaldo Galang over 5 years ago11/22/18 at 5:18 am (UTC) Hi Brian, Older LMS specs, such as SCORM 1.2 have outdated restrictions on suspend data. We recommend publishing publishing for the latest edition of SCORM or xAPI. See this article for more information: https://articulate.com/support/article/exceeding-scorm-suspend-data-limits As a solution to this limit imposed by earlier version of SCORM, Storyline compresses suspend data so not to exceed the threshold.
