Compatibility test

Oct 06, 2016

Hi everyone,

I would like to know if it's possible to put a javascript or a php code into the story.html to detect the browser compatibility before to run the player. If yes, let me know how to do it. I would like to put an alert box on the screen if the browser is not compatible with the articulate storyline. I already tried the (DEMO - System and Browser Check) from Mike B. its pretty good but I prefer to have it out of the player.

Thank you in advance !
Sylvain

Hi Sylvain!

Articulate Storyline lets you publish courses for Flash, HTML5, and the Articulate Mobile Player app. To distribute your published content, upload it to your web server or LMS, then link to the story.html file in the published output. Here’s how Storyline determines which version of your content to display when learners view it.

Hopefully someone in the community will be able to assist you if you need more than what is built in as I cannot assist in supporting JavaScript nor do we support the modification of the published output.
