My IT Department has informed me they have left several messages (emails?) regarding on of their last concerns about us purchasing five Articulate 360 licenses.
Can someone please answer the following question ASAP?
What control mechanism is in place to check the images database for rogue scripts?
Sorry for the delay here, and I saw you sent in a few Support tickets and emails to our Sales team too. 😕 I didn't see anything from your IT team, but if you had a case number or name to share, I can track that down.
These are all in the hands of our Compliance Manager who will be in touch with you as soon as possible! It may not be till early next week, but we'll get you the information needed.
We partner with highly reputable content providers to provide a portion of the content available in Content Library. We have no reason to believe this presents a risk and therefore have not added checks for malicious scripts to our integration. If you wish to learn more, including how to potentially block the connection to those third party services, please let us know and we'll follow up offline.
Brian … here is the response from BFSFCU's IT Security Manager, Nhuong Nguyen and I quote:
"I don’t take vendor’s opinion on what risk is important to us. The bottom line is they confirm here, they are not doing the checking for malicious script in the images. We need to file an exception and accept the risk."
Would it be possible for someone to follow up with Nhuong via a telephone call to discuss his concerns? Nhuong can be reached at 202.212.6505 or 202.309.8603.
I feel certain a direct conversation with an Articulate resource will provide Nhuong with the level of comfort he desires.
Hi there, Tim. Really appreciate you continuing to reach out, and we'd love to start the conversation with your team! Brian will be in touch via email shortly–and we're here, too, if you need anything else in the meantime!
P.S. Looks like you may have replied via email in which several contact information came through to the forums. No worries, as this Peek video will show you how to edit it. ☺️
Thanks for the edit suggestion, Katie. I've done that. Please let me know if Brian needs contact information so we can get this conference call scheduled soon.
We understand how important data protection is to our users, so we want to make sure you and your team feel comfortable using our software. And ..you've probably already seen this, but here's our Trust Center just in case! He'll be in touch, and thanks again for reaching out here!
