Continuous timer - from specific slide to the end slide

Jun 22, 2016

Hi All,

I'm having a problem with the JavaScript that I have with my slide. At first, the timer appears in a good condition - it is counting up (I'm viewing it in Internet Explorer, since it's not working in other browsers) , but after a few days of editing the whole course, the timer didn't work and all I have in the slide whenever I publish it is this code - Timer: %sSeconds%. I didn't touch or even edit the slide where the JavaScript is located.

Hi Christie,

Thanks for your response! Anyway, the timer is now good. Lucky, I got to check on one of the thread or discussion here in our community.

The only problem I have now is that, the text entry I have in the slides, which I need to fill in, won't work.  Well, I can still fill the text entry a bit but it is restarting (it restarts every second - which is the same as the timer). I figured that the timer is altering  the text entry. I did try to take the timer off the slide, and the text entry works well. Is there anyway I can simultaneously use both the timer and the text entry in a slide?

I'm using this timer. Please see attachment below. :)

Hi, Yuri -- Thanks for your reply, and if I am understanding your question for using a countdown timer and text entry simultaneously, may I ask if what you are experiencing seems similar to what was reported over here? Perhaps some of the ideas suggested will offer some ideas you can try, or others will be able to check out your file and chime in here alternatives, as well.
