Converting a Course for Smart Phone Distribution

I have an existing course that was developed in Storyline for utilization on a desktop or tablet. The course now needs to "converted" for use on smart phones. Has anyone had much experience/success in targeting smart phones with Storyline?

My initial thought is that it may be quickest to make a copy of the existing desktop/tablet .story, modify the story size to something like 320 x 640 (iPhone 2-4 portrait resolution) and then adjust content/controls accordingly. This obviously isn't ideal (as Storyline doesn't support any sort of responsive design and the screen resolutions of mobile devices is now really all over the board), but thought this may be a quick stop-gap "fix" for this course. Thoughts? Suggestions on other tool sets?
