Converting restricted state menu navigation to free menu navigation

May 13, 2016

Hi,

I set slide advances in "By User" and "Reset to initial state" in "when revisiting" window. I set the menu navigation in "Restricted" with all options reported in the specific window.

When the course is completed and i want to revisit it, i can choose twice options at "resume where you left" question:

yes --> i can revisting the course from the point course that i left in the past and i can forward fast skipping slides.

no --> i restart the course from the beginning but i can't forward fast skipping slides unlike to the previous case

How can i solve this problem?

Thanks to all community

Hi, Filippo -- Thanks for reaching out with your question! If I am understanding your question correctly, you only want to the course to be restricted on the initial visit, but then allow free navigation on any visits thereafter? Perhaps the ideas offered over here in this post, Restricted Navigation to Free Navigation, will have some ideas you can try!

Thanks Christie :-)

When I review the course after passed the completed state,  I would like scroll back and forward without listening againg each slide. Remain the settings referred previously: slide advances in "By User" and "Reset to initial state" in "when revisiting" window; "Restricted" with all options reported in the specific window when i set the menu navigation.

I try to insert a specific button to advance the course when revisiting the slide alternating the hidden and normal state with a specific variable, but nothing...I wasn't able to achieve this goal.

Thanks a lot

Thanks Leslie.

When the student finish to visit the course for the first time and he wants to revisiting from the beginning without selecting yes at "resume where you left" window, i would like that he can forward fast within the course and i don't want that he listening again each slide before advance to the subsequent.
