copying and pasting fill the blank question slides

Hi

I am creating storyline projects using templates set up by a former colleague. They all work fine, (copying and pasting slides from the template in to the project I am working on and editing the content), except for the 'Fill-the -Blank' slides.

So, I copy a 'Fill-the-Blank' slide that works correctly and paste it in to my current project and it does not work if I type the answer click the custom 'submit' button, yet it does work if I hit 'Enter'.

Attached is a copy of a working slide. However, when copied and pasted in to a new project the submit button does not work.

Any help on this matter would be gratefully received.
