Copying elements and/or layers to selected or all slides at once

I have a layer that I want to paste into all slides in a scene. Is there a way to do this all at once?

I tried to do it by selecting all slides and using Ctrl+V, but it only pasted the layer to the slide I was currently on. 

If it's not possible, I would suggest that as a new ability for the Storyline development team.

    There are two options:

    1. open the layer, select everything, create new layer on new slide, and paste (CTRL-V)

    2. do step 1, but create new layer on the slide master. You may have to re-select the layout on the slides to get them to update.
