Hi, Steve -- Thanks for your question! Although you may be able to copy and paste objects from external programs into Storyline, the reverse is not always true. You can copy and paste text from Storyline into other programs, but you won’t be able to copy and paste images, shapes, characters, etc. from Storyline into other programs. If you need to re-use an object in another program, right-click it, and select Save as Picture. Then import the saved picture into the external program. Hope that helps!
