In Storyline 2, I use to copy paste text to allow readers to zoom in. This allowed me to add more stuff on a single slide. However, when I do the exact same thing in Storyline 3, the image is blurry. So, when readers click to Zoom In, they can barely read the text.
Thanks for including those screenshots, and I'm sorry this is giving you trouble. Can you tell me where you copied and pasted the text from? Is your goal to paste the text as an image or as editable text on the slide? I'd like to try and re-create this in a file on my end.
Thanks for that context, Karim. I copied a table from PowerPoint into Storyline 3, and I also saw bluriness in the pasted picture. I'm going to bring this to our team, and we'll take a closer look to verify whether this is a bug. Sometimes my team catches errors in my logic and we don’t have a bug after all. Of course if that’s the case, I’ll let you know!
As a workaround for now, try right-clicking the table in PowerPoint and selecting Save As Picture. Then in Storyline, click Insert > Picture from file, and select the table image. You shouldn't see any bluriness using this method. Give that a try, and let me know if that works better for you.
And stay tuned, because we're adding a tables feature to Storyline 3 soon! You can keep up with all of the upcoming releases on our What's New in Storyline 3 page here.
Please see the attachments for an example. I'm copy pasting from PowerPoint into Storyline 3. The first attachment is the original 'image' that I created in PPT, the second attachment shows what the image looks like when pasted into Storyline. Note: the 'image' is not saved in PPT as a picture, it's simply a shape with text.

I'm also having this same problem. Is there a solution to this yet?
Thanks!
Hi there, Lindsey. I'd like to try and help. Can you describe exactly what you're copying and pasting into Storyline 3 and from where?
Hi Crystal,

Thanks for sharing Lindsey! I do not have an update to share on this yet, but we do have a workaround for you to use in the meantime.
Hope that helps :)
