counting points

Oct 01, 2013

hello all,

I'm lost. I have a quizz  of 9 questions in three slides (3 questions each). Each answer has points that are counted togehter in the end. But it's only possible to select one answer per slide. I have a result slide where all points are counted together. My problem now is, that some people change their mind, and after they have clicked on the first answer they decide to take the second one. But then, all points, those of answer one AND of answer two are counted together in the result slide. How can I manage it, that only one answer per slide -in this case answer two-  is counted?

Hi Annika,

I came across this and noticed that no one had responded. Not sure if you're still looking for an answer, but thought I'd throw something out here that's really bare bones but might get the conversation started if you're still looking for help.

I'm not sure I'm completely understanding your problem, but based on this part of your post:

My problem now is, that some people change their mind, and after they have clicked on the first answer they decide to take the second one. But then, all points, those of answer one AND of answer two are counted together in the result slide.

Could you turn your choices into a button set? If you did this and Learners changed their minds, only points would only be assigned to their final answer.

A button set is created by selecting several objects, let's say the 3, 2, 1 shapes in your example, right-clicking, ensuring that all 3 objects are still selected, and choosing Button Set 1 from the shortcut menu, or creating a new Button set. Here's a screen shot from a different story, but you can see the shortcut menu.

I'm uploading the really barebones example I'd created.
