Course not loading, links not working

I've had a few issues lately with delegates not being able to access links within storyline courses, text (whole words or random letters) not loading on pages.

I've put it down to slow or poor connection speeds, could it also be down to hardware or is there anything I can advise them to try i.e. clear cache/cookies whatever?

Could it be an issue with my server, if so what do I need to look for/at?

Do any browsers perform better than others, I currently use chrome and IE.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi Matthew,

Sorry to hear about the odd behavior with your courses - all of the things you mentioned in terms of clearing the cache, checking the connection speed, etc. are a good place to start. I'd also be curious to know which versions of Chrome and IE they're using - as I had heard of a few users who upgraded to IE11 and Flash did not automatically update properly and then text was missing, similar to your scenario.  So they had to go have users update that separately. 

Since it's only a few users, I doubt it's something with your server or the course itself, but you could always try publishing it to a different server and see how that version behaves for them. There are a few free options included in this article.
