Hi, I've created a Storyline course and set the course to ask the user if they want to resume course when they revisit, however when ever a user completes say half of the course and then exit's with the intention of finishing it later, upon return even if they click to resume, it never resumes to the slide that they were on when they exited. Can anyone help me see where i'm going wrong?
When a learner exits a course, Storyline saves the suspend/resume data in the LMS.
Unfortunately, some LMS settings (such as SCORM 1.2) have a relatively low limit to the amount of data that can be stored. That can lead to situations like the one you describe when the LMS wasn't able to store all the data for a large course.
The solution is to publish with settings (such as SCORM 2004) that allow for more resume data to be stored.
