Course Resets after a copy and paste into a TextEntry field

Ok, so this odd - i'm wondering if anyone has experienced anything like this.
One of our courses resets to the beginning and erases all previous data if you were to copy and paste text into a textEntry field (thats what i suspect is causing the issue).
I have the prompt resume set up properly, and the course works normally if you don't copy/paste anything into any textEntry fields.
Scenario: if you go through the course and free type your answers, the course works perfectly, you can exit and return to where you left off and all previous data entries appear. If you were to copy and paste text from an outside source into any textEntry field, exit the course, upon relaunching it brings you to the beginning of the course and all data is wiped. No prompt.
I've tested this on the LMS and online (web server). The problem only exists on the LMS, it works fine online (web) even if you copy and paste. This leads me to believe it's an LMS issue. But, what could be causing the course to reset?
Any insights to this would be much appreciated!

That certainly is odd Eric. Not sure that I've seen this issue before.
You mention that it's only happening in your LMS. Curious if you see the same behavior if you upload and test the content in SCORM Cloud or if the issue is limited to your particular LMS?

I've tested it on SCORM Cloud and I cannot replicate the issue. It seems to be working fine. More proof that it's my LMS. But still unclear to what could be causing it?
Hi Eric,
You may want to share the SCORM Cloud link with your LMS admin to demonstrate how it's behaving there. Thay may be just the clue they need to track this down further!
I'd also look to see if your LMS admin has recommendations about what browser(s) you should be using. I wasn't sure which version of Storyline you're using, but you can find the Storyline 360 browsers her.
