I am wondering if articulate mobile player is still useable on iPad since the iOS 13 update. My links will no longer open in articulate mobile player. The courses play, but as web versions which means I cannot use them offline.
Thanks for reaching out and sharing what you are running into with your published courses on iOS 13. We do not have any reported issues and I see that you have reached out to our support team as well and Lea is currently working with you directly.
do we have an answer for this at all. I am going to be publishing a standalone presentation that will be viewed on iPad and do not want to run into this same problem.
I just checked into Helena's case and we're currently unable to replicate the issue.
Are you also unable to open your course in the Articulate Mobile Player? If so, please reach out to our support engineers so we can help troubleshoot and dig in to find the culprit.
Hello, We have the exact same issue, my colleagues and I just updated our ipads and we cannot open our Review 360 links in the mobile player. It's a pity for us because our trainers use our module in offline mode. Anything new since last week ?
UPDATE : Links are working in Chrome but not in Safari, maybe Safari is not "letting know" Review 360 that the device is an ipad ?
Mine is working now. However, I spent a bit of time on the phone to Apple about something else and lots of settings were changed in the process. I can’t be sure which of those settings did the trick regarding the articulate mobile player. The settings that they were looking at were to do with safari and emails. I would recommend ringing them though, as there is a ring back feature and I didn’t wait more than a minute. Good luck!
Thanks for reaching out and letting us know that you're running into an issue. I can see that you worked directly with Lianne and she's shared your support case for further investigation on this issue.
I've added this conversation to the report as well so that we can share any updates we have with you here.
Hey Tony, For me the solution was pretty easy : in Safari parameters, I had to untick the computer version option. In the new IOs, safari behave as a computer browser, that's why it won't show the "launch" option for the Articulate app. Hope it may help you !
Thank you so much Salomé! I'll give it a try. The support engineer said they will try to fix it as a bug. So hopefully we'll have a software update on this in the near future.
Same here, links are being only opened in browsers (tried Safari and Chrome) Any idea on how to get player working? Any other way to get the content offline to Ipad (iOS13)
It looks you are a fortunate to access the courses on the AMP.
I also tried the tip Salome suggested but Safari did not open the course as it used to do.
As to your question, I tried hitting both buttons before sharing the screenshot but I got the same blank screen with both.
I guess a new update is what we need. Any plans to do so? As we are all used to running the apps offline after downloading them from the app stores. (And so are our clients).
I just got off the phone with Apple support to see if they had a record of what we changed in settings for my iPad and unfortunately they don’t. They did say that ringing them directly is your best bet, as they can screen share with you and help you to find the problem - this worked for me. The number is 0800 107 6285. Also make sure that you are up to date with the operating system.
Thanks for the additional troubleshooting, Gonzalo.
We do have an open issue similar to what you are reporting and this conversation has been linked to the report as well so that we can share any updates with you here.
Has there been a solution/ fix to this yet? Facing same issue. Older courses running fine on IOS 13 but newly publishedcourses just a black screen but same SCORM works fine on IOS 12.
Thank you for reaching out and inquiring about this issue! While I don't have an update to share, I am adding your comments to our open report. As soon as we have more details to share, we will be sure to provide an update to this thread!
I was able to move forward with the solution recommended by Salome, but I wanted to see if there was anything in the works to improve this for the users?
After turning off the "Desktop" setting in safari, I had to Press and Hold the "Launch" button. Then drag over so it opens up another instance of safari, THEN it gave me the option to "open in Articulate mobile Player"
So while technically functional, not an intuitive user experience.

I just had the same issue. Already contacted support, but no solution yet. Anyone knows how to address it? Thanks

Hi, there!
Any update to get the Articulate Mobile Player functional again on iPad (iOS13)?
This is the screen I get and no course can be loaded.
Can you please suggest a way for offline viewing on mobile devices?
Thank you!
Hello Gonzalo,
Thanks for reaching out and sharing what you are running into with your Articulate Mobile Player.
I am able to see my courses on an iPad Air 2 with iPadOS 13.3.
In your image, it looks like you are viewing 'Favorites'.
What do you see if you click on your Library?

Hi,
I have managed to get this working. On the iPad, go into settings, then safari and then request desktop website. Make sure this is toggled off.
