Hi, Designboy Chris --

Sorry to hear of the issues you are experiencing, but there are a few troubleshooting steps we can try first to rule out the causes of some common problems.

Please make sure you are working locally as described here, and you may want to try importing the file into a new file. If you are still having issues, you might want to try to repair Storyline. Also, could you please ensure that you are utilizing the most recent SL2 Update? Info on the latest update can be found here

If issues persist, you are welcome to share your file so we can take a closer look for you. Please use the ADD ATTACHMENT button in the bottom left corner of the reply box in the thread, and you can browse for the file from there. Please also note that if you reply via email, your attachment will not appear here in the thread.

Hi!

I had a similar problem where SL2 hanged up when publishing for LMS. And the cancel button didnt´t work leaving me with the only option to crash SL2.

However since the last update the cancel button works. But only on the 2nd or sometimes 3rd time.  When the publish is sucessfully canceled the publish usally work instantly when you press publish again.

I´m very glad that I no longer need to crash SL2 all the time. :)

I was having a similar problem: in SL2, publishing a file for LMS caused the system to hang. I would have to cancel, then try again - it sometimes saved OK on the second attempt. I'd been through the whole reinstall process with no luck, but then read a report from someone else who thought the long file string was the issue. My files are buried deep in our company's network, so I copied them over to my Articulate folder on my C drive, and it completely solved all of the publishing problems I was having. May be worth trying if you are still having issues.
