how can I develop a course without using in-built interface elements? I have to develop a project where in I have been directed to create my own interface elements in the player. Can you please guide me with an appropriate example? ASAP.
In story view you need to remove the Next/Prev/Submit buttons. In the player settings you need to change the colour of all of the elements of the Player to either transparent or the same colour as the background.
In features of the player switch off all the elements you do not need.
It seems you have not understood my question. The client has specifically asked not to use the in-built interface elements such as Menu, Resource, Help, etc..Instead they have asked to use customised buttons wiith similar names and functionality. Besides, they have also asked to change the position of the elements. For exmple, say Menu which is on the left-hand corner of the frame should be positioned somehere else .
You can turn off Forward, Next and Submit buttons on allslides and turn off all options in Player properties window. Then under Playerproperties window use Color & Effects section, and change Base colors(background, border, etc) to match your Page background (white by default).
The menu is a cusotm menu and the position is alos changed, however, it will open when the learner clicks it and will close when the learner will click the CLOSE button given in the grab.
Hi Chetna, I gave you instructions to switch off the player elements. you can then build your interface on the slides. If you would like to sit the player itself you can use the SDK for the Flash frame, you will need flash skills to do this.
