Hello, I am creating a quiz for online training in our system. I'm going to create 30 questions, but I'd like to be only 10 each time, randomly. Can you help me ?
Looks like you got some great community help, Audrey!
Just wanted to share our Creating and Managing Question Banks guide in case you'd like to check it out. Good luck on the project, and we're here if you have any more questions!
I managed to create my questionnaire with 28 questions and I inserted a "draw form bank" in which I put that I wanted 10 questions only each time for the test. It didn't work. I have the 28 questions that are put to me. The slide draw is in last position, is this normal? Do you have an idea why it doesn't work?
When viewing the story initially, the left-panel would thus be empty except for your placeholder where the "Draw 10 questions" will occur. Yes? Is that what you see?
Typically you would publish this and run it to see the "draw" occur randomly in realtime.
Once you've inserted your 'Draw Questions from Bank' slide, you can double-click on the slide to bring up a window to select the number of questions you'd like to show. Can you confirm this is what you're seeing?

You'll want to put the questions into a Question Bank. Create them normally within the bank.
Then in your actual quiz, you do a "draw" of 10 questions.
Check out the sections above, they are very intuitive and easy to use.

Hello Jerry and Katie,

Hi Audrey,
Once you've inserted your 'Draw Questions from Bank' slide, you can double-click on the slide to bring up a window to select the number of questions you'd like to show. Can you confirm this is what you're seeing?
On the Home tab, Preview your course and see if the quiz gives you ten questions. Also, if you want your quiz to be graded, you can insert a Results slide to grade the question draw. Feel free to share your .story file publicly here, or send it to me privately by uploading it here. I'll delete when I'm done troubleshooting.
