Creating multiple layers from one image
Jan 30, 2016
Hi everyone
I am new to Storyline and trying out different features as I build my first course. I am importing an image of the brain (above) with the different sections of the brain highlighted.
Is it possible to create multiple layers and triggers from the one image to illustrate the functions of each part of the brain in further detail? I have tried to insert shapes to correspond with each area of the brain. But, I don't think it is working well! Is this because Storyline is treating the picture as one image?
Any help appreciated. Many thanks.
Fergus

You can certainly add info, e.g. text labels on layers and overlay them with an image. To create a true layered image though, you need to have a layered PhotoShop or Illustrator file, export the layers as separate images and then add them to layers in Storyline.
Thanks for your reply Michael. Yes, that is what I thought! Back to the
drawing board (literally)!
