I have a circle hotspot and I'm needing to add a character inside the circle. I tried to change the shape of a character but of course the only option is oval so it does not fit the circular shape of my hotspot. How do I crop a character to a circle? This is done in PP using the 1:1 crop aspect ratio, but I don't see any way to change aspect ratio in the SL crop.
Crop the character to a 1:1 aspect ratio. You need to drag the crop anchors and will see the dimensions when you drag [image]. Then you can format it to shape and it will be a circle.

Is there a ratio setting in SL like there is in PP?
No, but when you grab the crop tool you'll see the dimensions and can easily crop to 1:1.
Some people insert shapes at a certain size and then just use that shape as a guide for alignment.
Thanks!
