Customise User Experience Based on First Tigger
Mar 09, 2021
Hi there,
I am trying to create a course that can be personalised to the individual user. In the first slide, they select a button for which condition they have (X, Y, or Z). I have created triggers for these buttons to bring the user to the next appropriate slide depending on their selection. The next slide I want the user to see is the same no matter which condition they have chosen, but the slide after this needs to split again depending on their condition. My problem is I don't want them to have to select their condition each time I need to show a different slide. Do I have to create individual pathways for each condition even if some of the slides will be identical? Or is there a way I can link back to the first button chosen to decide the user's pathway?
Thanks,
Jenny

Hi, Jennifer,
I answered a question about a similar situation a few weeks ago. Here's my post with instructions and a demo file about how to do what you want.

Here is a sample that allows pathways that have a variety of slides that are unique. It also has places where two or three of the options share a slide, then branch out again.
