Is it possible to insert image / text onto the player to the left of the player controls, previous / next as I want to insert a reference to copyright and that area appears as the best option as it would show on every slide?
Hi Steve, you can't customize the player like this unless you have the Storyline Developer Kit (SDK). The SDK is available for free but to use it you have to have advanced Flash skills and it only customizes the Flash output so if you plan to use Html5 you would be out of luck.
Something much easier to do would be to put the copyright info on the slide master so that the text appears on every slide. If you are worried about taking up valuable slide space with the copyright you could modify the screen size via the design tab.
