Customizable learner features and variables

Hello!

I'm working on a project that allows users to customize their desk, including its contents and organization, which will be displayed throughout the scenario. I've created a selector at the beginning of the project, but I'm looking for a more efficient way to implement the customizations across multiple slides without having to create individual states and triggers for each possibility. There are around 25 different options with animations in different situations, so I'd like to avoid using 25+ variables and states on each slide. Can anyone suggest a more streamlined approach to achieve this, if this is possible?
