Customize the state of a radio button or checkbox?

By default, a radio button or a checkbox in the question has a status when "File correctly" in which the radio button and the checkbox are EMPTY. In the "Selected" state, this radio button or checkbox is filled. But if the feedback is then basically displayed, i.e. the user sees "Filing correctly", this is just empty. Is there an easy way to change that? Or do I have to draw a small circle/hook in these elements by hand?

Hi Stefan,

I would love to give you some insight into this request! First, I have a follow-up question. Are you looking to switch the selected state of the radio button with the normal state? Also, would you be willing to share your file so I can get a better idea of what the issue is?

Looking forward to your response!

Hi John, actually simple. The radio buttons in the option fields only have a filled circle when selected. In the other states they are empty. This makes little sense when "giving feedback". Because the user no longer sees what he has selected. You would then have to draw a circle in this radio button again by hand. I have attached a small file as an example.

Hi Stefan,

Thanks for clarifying!

That's what I thought you were asking. The states for the radio buttons are built-in and not customizable beyond the options you see in the "Radio Button - Format" menu. Creating them by hand is always an option.

In the meantime, the best way to possibly get a feature added to Storyline is to submit a feature request. You can do that here.
