How do I display for the learner the question number they are on and the total number of questions? I don't see a way to do this in customizing the player.
Storyline isn't a quiz creator. Since there is so much flexibility in creating quiz questions and where you put them in the presentation, there isn't an option for automatically labeling a question such as "question 1 of 10". I assume your questions are taken in the same order each time since there isn't an option to automatically randomize the question order? If so, it is easy enough to add that detail yourself. Just add a text box with the appropriate numbers to each question.
I've created a question bank in which you can randomize the questions. Since this is a certification test it's important to do this as students may need to take it more than once to pass the test. I know a test in Studio had that feature but I don't know if it's possible to do in Storyline.
Hi Peg! I assume that you are talking about the ability to draw randomly from a question bank as shown here. Other community members have found custom ways of doing so that you may find helpful, so I just thought I would share a couple of threads here and here. Hope that helps you out or at least gets you going in the right direction.
