Customizing Player Buttons

This seems like such a simple issue that I must be missing something.

On the very last slide in my course, I'd like the "Next" button in the Player to read "Close," and for it to exit the course. I know that I could just disable all of the Player buttons and add a custom button of my own, but it doesn't make sense to me to use the Player for every button except on the last slide. There has to be a way to do this, right?
