Is there a way for me to animate the "Next" button so it flashes to indicate to the learner needs to click the button to advance through the course? Thanks in advance!
To share our experience, we often use buttons in the “Slide Master” instead of built-in previous/next buttons of SL. We can then control them the way we want!
The downside is in Story view, slides are not linked and are displayed horizontally.
In the exemple below, you can see a fully customized control bar.

Hi Kat,
There isn't any way to animate the next button (or any player elements). If you're using Storyline 2, you could place it in a disabled state until you'd like the user to be able to advance.
Hope that helps!
Thanks!
