I would like to change the default slide everytime a new scene is created in the Storyline. I noticed that the slide that highlighted in the Slide Master would be the default one. But somehow after selecting different slide, it will always revert to the previous one as the default slide. Any suggestions are appreciated.
I'm not sure what you meant by highlighting the Slide Master, do you mean when working in the Slide Master View you had that slide highlighted and thought it would then be the default?
Thank you for your response. I imported the corporate brand PPT file to Storyline. Since then every time a new scene is created, the first slide on that new scene is always "link to" the specific layout of the imported "PPT" Slide Master. Is there a way to change the default slide instead of having to re-apply to another slide master layout?

Can you make a screencast of this behavior in a new file and the steps to create the issue, perhaps starting with importing the PPT file with the branding.

We are no longer seeing this bug, PowerPoint Slide Master Blank layout affects the default slide on new Scenes, in our latest version of Storyline 360.
If you're running into a similar issue, please make sure you're using Storyline 360 (Build 3.61.27106.0) or later.

Hello Ben,
When you create a new scene, similar to when you create a new slide, you can then apply the slide master layout that you wish to use.
