Default Text Box for Quiz Question Correct, Incorrect, Try Again layers

May 10, 2018

I am working with quiz questions. I added a Graded Multiple Choice question and filled out the Form View with the Choices and Feedback text for Correct, Incorrect, and Try again.

When I go to Slide Layers and open the Correct layer for example, the default text box that appears for the title and the text for the message are really large. The default font setting for the title is Arial (Heading) 42.5 and the default font setting for the message text is Arial (Body) 25. I have to re-format each one.

Where does that default text come from on these feedback layers? Is there a way to change that default text for the Feedback Master for the Correct, Incorrect, and Try Again layers?

Hi Crystal.  I did check there and the format was something different on the Feedback masters.  i ended up deleting everything on the Correct, Incorrect, and Try Again feedback masters except the Continue button.  Then I created my own custom look on the slide layer itself. What I created works fine but i was just wondering where the default text is coming from for Correct, incorrect, and Try Again when you use a quiz slide. If it's not coming from the Feedback master slides, where else could it be coming from and can the default font/size be changed.  Thanks!

Hello Sheri and welcome to E-Learning Heroes :)

Sorry to hear that you've run into an issue with your feedback. Sounds like you've set up some customization now and that it's working well for you.

If you are able to recreate the issue you were seeing, I'd be happy to take a look at the .story file to understand what you may have been experiencing.

My first thought is the same as what Crystal shared above, which we have a tutorial for here. Curious if perhaps the layout was not applied to the slide?
